Kazan hosted training in minimally invasive spine surgery


Kazan Educational Center for high medical technologies hosted a unique training in spinal surgery at November 17-18, 2011 supported by Russian Association of Spinal Surgeons. This training covered new minimally invasive treatments for spinal diseases.


For the first time, such training was transmitted in the real time to other cities in Russia and CIS. Surgeons from Moscow, Beslan, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Surgut, Magnitogorsk, Kiev and other cities could join the web-conference and participate in discussions. 

Thanks to this new web-conferencing technology a total number of participants exceeded 100 surgeons, with only 40 surgeons on-site in Kazan.

Transmission to other cities made this training a unique event, and surgeons from other Russian cities and CIS states could connect to the channel and watch this training on-line.
