Moscow CPD training center for healthcare professionals organized the conference "Ethics and Deontology for nurses."

Moscow CPD training center for healthcare professionals organized the conference "Ethics and Deontology for nurses" on 15 March 2012 supported by Regional Nurse Association. Irina Almazova, Chief nurse in Moscow City Hospital No. 67, was conference chairwoman.

Valentina Tsareva
Valentina Tsareva, president of Regional Nurse Association, vice-chair on nursing staff in VV Hospital No. 3, opened the conference. She noticed the important role of nursing care in modern healthcare and how it helps improving patients recovery. Valentina Tsareva also noticed that modern nurse should follow ethical and deontological regulations. Irina Almazova shared the experience of Moscow City Hospital No. 67 on implementing deontological principles and improving the quality of medical care, as well as highly positive feedback from patients on these changes.

Different ethic cases from routine medical practice were presented and actively discussed by conference participants.  Such discussions significantly improve nurse experience and communication skills with colleagues, patients, and their relatives.
This conference was very well organized, and all participants showed a genuine interest in presentations and discussions.
