Fullback of the Moscow Football Club CSKA Vasili Berezutski called the timing of his return to the team and shared his experience about the recovery program.

— How are you?

— Now it's much better, - said Berezutski. - That severe pain in my back, thankfully, gone. But I still have so-called residual effects.

— What exactly includes your recovery program?

— Constant follow-up by CSKA doctors and physiotherapists. Also, regular visits to Moscow Spine Center, directed by Dr. Dmitry Dzukayev. I also do all necessary physical exercises. Now it's the first week of my recovery. In the second week, I will be able to combine clinic visits with running in Vatutinki. If all goes according to the plan, I hope to join the team at 12-14 July.

— I hope that will happen

— Doctors and I, we rush my return a little, because official matches will begin very soon. I hope that I will join the team in one month after my trauma. But it will take some time for me to get a feel for the game..

— You had a vacation; you managed to fly to Turkey. How did you spend time at the resort immediately after injury?

— The first week, when the pain was very severe, I just traveled in a corset from bed to sun lounger and back. I watched from the sidelines as the other people are having fun. Actually, it was not bad: I had plenty of leisure time, and for the first time in many years I got enough sleep. Then I spent less time in a corset. By the second week I began to go into the sea, even swam by crawl stroke. It was the real senior man's rest. Mostly on the bed and sun lounger.
